Overview
Reliable knowledge of basic sight vocabulary is one of the important cornerstones of reading efficiency.
Dingo Bingo 2 introduces a further 240 sight words to those taught in the ever popular, and widely used, Dingo Bingo 1. The program is an enjoyable and highly motivational way of ensuring students reinforce the systematic development of these words.
There are ten lists of words and students must be proficient in one list before progressing to the next. The program monitors word accuracy, time taken per game, and error rate. Problem words are listed after each game, and can be printed out for further practice and revision away from the computer.
A memory game, with 2 difficulty levels, is also provided as an extra stimulus to further challenge students and help develop this essential reading skill.
The program incorporates a 3-tier reward system to encourage student achievement, including printable certificates that can be viewed on screen.
Dingo Bingo is a proven method of increasing a student’s knowledge of basic sight vocabulary words. Instant recognition of these words gives students more time to concentrate on less familiar words that are difficult for them.
