Overview
English Factoryis a comprehensive program covering 36 English grammar topics for all students. The exercises are fully interactive, with sets of 10 questions for each exercise drawn at random. No two question sets are the same!
Exercises are set within attractive and interesting scenes that are friendly to work in. Students receive instant feedback and are able to call up worked examples when needed. Unobtrusive animation and sound adds to the enjoyment of using English Factory, without detracting from its focus on learning.
Students can listen to any words that are unfamiliar, which is especially useful for reading out questions, answers and instructions. Topic Help is also fully narrated.
There are three difficulty levels, with an overall score bar displaying progress within each level. The score bar contains milestones with achievement rewards (printable certificates) that recognise and encourage student effort.
In the school edition, teachers are able to allocate class groups within the login section, change global variables and maintain individual user preferences, which includes enabling/disabling of sound effects and narrated support.
